CAF 2026 final: Zamalek vs USM Alger, who leads in market value?
The July 5, 1962 Stadium in Algiers will set the stage on Saturday, May 9 for a high-caliber clash as USM Alger takes on Egypt's Zamalek in the final of the CAF Confederation Cup (2025-2026 season).
USM Alger booked their place in the final after overcoming Olympique de Safi in the semis. Following a goalless draw in the first leg in Algiers, the Algerians snatched a crucial 1-1 draw away from home, which proved enough to secure qualification.
Zamalek, on the other hand, punched their ticket to the final by outclassing CR Belouizdad, securing a 1-0 aggregate win over the two legs and further underlining their solidity in this year's competition.
Market value analysis of the two finalists
According to the specialist website “Transfermarkt,” the combined market value of both squads is approximately €24.31 million. Zamalek boasts the higher-valued roster, estimated at €15.28 million, compared to USM Alger’s €9.03 million.
It's worth noting that the return leg between the “Qalaa El Baida” club and “Soustara” will take place on May 16 at Cairo International Stadium.
