Al Ahly will host Espérance Sportive de Tunis this Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. GMT at the Cairo International Stadium behind closed doors, for the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

The Egyptian club has been sanctioned following incidents that occurred during their group stage match against AS FAR.

The Tunisians have the advantage after winning the first leg 1-0, thanks to a penalty from Mohamed Amine Tougai. That goal from the Algerian defender could prove decisive in this return leg.

Jess Thorup will be without Yassin Marei and Karim Fouad, while Patrice Beaumelle has a full squad at his disposal, except for the injured Youssef Belaili.

However, there are uncertainties on both sides. Zizo and Aliou Dieng, who picked up knocks in the first leg in Radès, are doubtful, while Hamza Jelassi is not certain to start in the Blood and Gold defense.
