Côte d'Ivoire locked down the first half of this CAN 2025 Round of 16 clash against Burkina Faso, heading into the break with a 2-0 lead. The show began in the 20th minute, when Amad Diallo capitalized on a shaky Burkinabe defensive line (1-0). It was a well-deserved opener.

Later, in the 32nd minute, after a pinpoint assist from Diallo, Yan Diomandé doubled the advantage (2-0).
