Group E of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025) will bring together Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, and Sudan.

The Fennecs and the Stallions are considered strong favorites to claim the top two spots in this group.

Here are the four players to keep an eye on in Group E.

Riyad Mahrez (Algeria)

The Al Ahli winger from Saudi Arabia is likely to play his final Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) tournament.

The Sunderland striker is undoubtedly the number one asset for the Stallions at the CAN.

Luís Asué (Equatorial Guinea)

The Shanghai Shenhua forward will be a key figure for Nzalang Nacional at the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025).

He has 27 caps for the national team, tallying 3 goals and 2 assists.

Mohamed Abdelrahman (Sudan)

The Al Hilal forward will be the attacking spearhead for the "Falcons" at CAN 2025.

He has played 42 matches for Sudan, scoring 13 goals and providing 3 assists.
