SS Lazio punched their ticket to the Coppa Italia final after edging out Atalanta BC in a penalty shootout (2-1), following a tightly contested two-legged tie that ended 1-1 on aggregate.

Young goalkeeper Eduardo Motta emerged as the hero during the shootout, making several crucial saves. Taylor and Isaksen then converted the decisive spot-kicks, sending the Biancocelesti through.

Inter Milan, on the other hand, secured their place in the final with a spectacular comeback against Como 1907. Trailing by two goals, the Nerazzurri overturned the deficit to win 3-2, inspired by their Turkish playmaker Hakan Çalhanoğlu.

The final will see SS Lazio face Inter Milan on Tuesday, May 13 at the Stadio Olimpico.

Inter chasing ninth triumph, Lazio hunting eighth title

Inter Milan head into this final aiming for their tenth Coppa Italia crown, having previously lifted the trophy in 1939, 1978, 1982, 2005, 2006, 2010, 2011, 2022, and 2023.

SS Lazio, meanwhile, are targeting an eighth trophy, with previous wins in 1958, 1998, 2000, 2004, 2009, 2013, and 2019.
