Democratic Republic of the Congo: Liliane Tshimpombo takes the helm of the Congolese Football Federation

Belinda Luntadila is no longer the president of the Congolese Football Federation (FECOFA). After being appointed in July 2025 to head the normalization committee, she spent nine months in the role. Secretary General Liliane Tshimpombo has now been entrusted with the duties as acting president.

According to Foot RDC, the new federation president is Liliane Tshimpombo, who will oversee day-to-day operations. Her main mission will be to organize elections at the regional league and federation levels next month.

She stated: "The mission is clear: we will see this process through to the end and organize the elections. That is what we are going to do."
