Egyptian championship: the roll of honor of the most decorated clubs after Zamalek's triumph
Zamalek were crowned Egyptian champions on Wednesday night, capping off an intense season with a victory over Ceramica Cleopatra (1-0) on the final day of the league.
The only goal of the match was scored by Palestinian striker Oday Dabbagh in the 8th minute, capitalizing on a defensive mistake to secure a decisive win for the White Knights.
With this victory, Zamalek finishes the season at the top with 56 points, two ahead of Pyramids FC, who claim the runner-up spot. Al Ahly rounds out the podium with 53 points.
This new triumph brings the Cairo club's tally to 15 Egyptian league titles, regaining the trophy after their last triumph in 2022 under Portuguese coach Jesualdo Ferreira.
