Fulham secures the future of Samuel Amissah until 2029

Fulham has officially announced the contract extension of Samuel Amissah. The young defender, regarded as one of the most promising prospects at the London club, has signed a new three-year deal that will keep him with the Cottagers until the summer of 2029. The agreement also includes an option for Fulham to extend his contract by an additional season.

Having joined Fulham at the age of nine, Samuel Amissah has climbed through every level of the club's academy. While he has yet to make his first-team debut, the defender has already been called up to the senior squad on several occasions. His first call-up came in December 2024, for an away match against Tottenham Hotspur. Since then, he has been included in the first-team squad seven more times, a clear sign of the coaching staff's confidence in him.

An England youth international with Ghanaian roots

An England U19 international, Amissah has worn the Three Lions shirt at every youth level from U16 to U19, amassing a total of 26 caps. However, his Ghanaian heritage continues to fuel debate about his international future.

Upon signing his new contract, the young defender made no secret of his satisfaction. He expressed his happiness at continuing his development at Fulham and thanked the club's management, coaches, teammates, and his family for their support.
