Wilfried Singo is determined to take part in the derby against Fenerbahçe. Recovered from his injury, the Galatasaray defender from Côte d’Ivoire is reportedly understood to have told the technical staff that he wants to be available for Monday’s clash. But his return is still raising questions within the Istanbul club.

According to Turkish daily Milliyet, the Côte d’Ivoire international has expressed his desire to return to the pitch for this particularly highly anticipated match. After several weeks on the sidelines, Wilfried Singo wants to contribute to his team in an important fixture of the season. Before the match against Lille, he had also explained that he wanted to make a gradual return after his injury.

Despite the defender’s motivation, the Galatasaray staff remain cautious.
