Issoufou Dayo embarks on a new adventure in Qatar
The Qatari club Umm Salal officially announced this Tuesday the signing of Burkinabe defender Issoufou Dayo, who joins from Renaissance Sportive de Berkane, during this summer transfer window.
Issoufou Dayo leaves RS Berkane for Umm Salal!
Umm Salal announced the arrival of their new player on their official page (X) with the following message:
"We welcome our Burkinabe player, Issoufou Dayo, who joins the Umm Salal team to prepare for the new season!"
At 33, Issoufou Dayo joined the Moroccan club in the summer of 2015 from Vita Club.
He spent ten years in Morocco, establishing himself as an undisputed starter. Dayo played a key role in RS Berkane's success, helping them win three CAF Confederation Cups, one Throne Cup, an African Super Cup, and a Moroccan league title.
In addition, Umm Salal has also signed Moroccan defender Adel Tahif on a free transfer following the end of his contract with RS Berkane.
