With the approval of the Spanish Federation and pending the green light from UEFA and FIFA, FC Barcelona and Villarreal are expected to play the 17th round of La Liga in Miami. The match is scheduled for December 20.

According to Sport, this move could prove extremely lucrative for both clubs. It's especially advantageous for the Yellow Submarine, the home team, which will forfeit its usual ticket revenue. The reported figures are between 5 and 6 million euros for Barça, and "an even higher amount" for their opponent.
