Nigerian prodigy Rio Ngumoha spoke out Monday night after his match-winning goal for Liverpool in the Premier League against Newcastle.

In a dramatic finish on Monday night, Liverpool edged Newcastle 3-2 in the Premier League, thanks to a decisive goal from Rio Ngumoha. The Nigerian winger, now the youngest goalscorer in Reds history, savored his milestone moment.

"I'm buzzing! I'm so happy to have scored, especially the winning goal. It's an amazing moment, a special feeling, I'm really happy. You just have to go for it and make a positive impact, and thank God, that's what I did. I'm so proud. (...) I'm 16, but I don't want my age to hold me back. I want to prove I can play at this level," Rio Ngumoha told Liverpool's official website.
