Liverpool: Rio Ngumoha sees Mohamed Salah as a role model
Originally from Nigeria, young English talent Rio Ngumoha recently spoke about his first steps with Liverpool's senior team. He didn't hesitate to mention the star Mohamed Salah as a true role model.
Rio Ngumoha has been training with Liverpool's first team for just a few days, but the Nigerian-born prodigy already made an impression during a friendly against Preston North End. The young Nigerian is currently living his childhood dream. "This experience is truly indescribable. Training with the best team in the world, even at such a young age, is every kid's dream. You learn from the players you train with and really get to measure yourself against them. It's incredible." Ngumoha told the English club's website.
He went on to mention that Egyptian star Mo Salah is one of his idols. "Mohamed Salah was, of course, one of my role models growing up, so it's really great to learn from him. Everyone is very professional, and you can see why they're at the top. They're always thinking about football, about recovery, about little details like healthy eating. So there's a lot we can learn from them." he said.
