Manchester United are interested in signing the outstanding Mateus Mané!
Manchester United and Liverpool had both set their sights on securing the services of Mateus Mané during the upcoming summer window. The young winger, born in Bissau, has attracted considerable attention following his increased involvement at Wolverhampton.
However, according to Football Insider, the Premier League heavyweights have been discouraged by the valuation placed on the 18-year-old. Wolves are holding out for a fee in the region of €57 million—a figure both clubs have deemed excessive given the player's current stage of development.
While United and Liverpool have long admired Mané’s potential, there is a shared belief internally that his game remains too raw to justify such a significant investment at this point.
Mané has made 16 senior appearances for Wolves this season, contributing two goals and two assists. Despite his growing reputation, Transfermarkt currently values him at just €250,000. He remains under contract at Molineux until 2029, giving the club a strong position in any negotiation.
