Manchester United interested in Meziane Mesloub

The Red Devils are closely tracking the performances of Lens's 16-year-old attacking midfielder, Meziane Mesloub, with TEAMtalk reporting that the club's scouting department has carried out an extensive assessment of the young Portuguese talent and placed him on their shortlist of key transfer targets as they seek to bolster the academy setup.

The youngster burst onto the footballing radar in May 2026, when he scored just seconds after coming off the bench in his Ligue 1 debut against Nantes, sealing victory for his side.

Football legacy

The son of former Lens and Algeria midfielder Walid Mesloub, he is equally comfortable operating in central midfield or on the right wing. Manchester United are far from alone in their admiration, with PSG, Monaco, Arsenal, and Chelsea all keeping a close watch on the wonderkid's development.

It is worth noting that although born in France, Mesloub represents Portugal at international level and has already earned call-ups to the U21 side. According to the respected portal Transfermarkt, the 16-year-old's current market value stands at €500,000.
