Algerian international Rachid Ghezzal has been linked with OL for several days. Now, he finally knows his new squad number.

A free agent this summer, Rachid Ghezzal has officially made his return to OL. He has signed a one-year contract with an additional year as an option—an exciting comeback for the Algerian international, who previously wore the club's colors from 2004 to 2017.

On Sunday, Ghezzal's new shirt number was revealed. Having previously worn the numbers 31 and 11 during his first stint at Lyon, Ghezzal is now set to inherit the number 18—left vacant since Rayan Cherki's move to Manchester City. Ghezzal himself broke the news during a live session with Zack Nani.
