Premier League fans crown Mohamed Salah greatest striker in landmark poll

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been voted the greatest striker in Premier League history by fans after topping an official poll organized by the league’s social media platforms.

The Egyptian star led a shortlist of iconic names, securing commanding share of the vote and outperforming several all-time greats.

Salah leads the vote with dominant margin

According to the results published by the Premier League’s official account, Mohamed Salah finished first with 40% of the total votes placing him comfortably ahead of his closest rival.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry came in second with 22% maintaining his status as one of the most respected forwards in the competition’s history. Meanwhile Cristiano Ronaldo & Wayne Rooney shared third place each receiving 11% of the votes.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland despite his recent goal-scoring exploits collected just 2% highlighting the strong historical competition in the poll.

Salah’s victory reflects his extraordinary impact since joining Liverpool in 2017. The Egyptian international has consistently delivered goals, assists and decisive performances helping Liverpool secure major titles including the Premier League & UEFA Champions League.
