PSG: Serge Aurier apologizes to Laurent Blanc
Former Côte d'Ivoire captain Serge Aurier recently apologized to his former coach at Paris Saint-Germain, Laurent Blanc.
As a reminder, ten years ago, Paris Saint-Germain supporters woke up incredulous. Indeed, during the night, the club's full-back, Serge Aurier, had himself filmed during a live broadcast on Periscope. In the footage, the Ivorian insulted several of his teammates as well as his coach at the time, Laurent Blanc. At the time, the incident earned the Ivorian international an immediate suspension from the capital club.
Serge Aurier makes peace
This Friday, the programme Détective Mathoux (broadcast on Canal+) gave Serge Aurier the opportunity to offer a “scripted” apology to the former Parisian coach. “Dear coach, if you only knew how much I regret it. Ten years have passed, and I can't stop thinking about you. I didn't mean a word of it. (…) Let's talk about it over a coffee. I invite you, I insist. Please, coach, forgive me,” he said, reading a text prepared by the encrypted channel.
