Real Madrid: Ferland Mendy returns to training

Good news emerged for Real Madrid this Friday. Ferland Mendy has resumed training with the Madrid squad.

“(Ferland) Mendy will train on the pitch with us for the first time today,” José Mourinho announced at a press conference on Friday morning. The French left-back is thus continuing his comeback after a period on the sidelines, with the aim of gradually regaining his match fitness and moving closer to a return to competition.

Ferland Mendy gives Mourinho another option

Ferland Mendy’s return to training is an encouraging sign for Real Madrid. José Mourinho could soon have an additional option at left-back. However, it remains to be seen when the French defender, who has suffered recurrent injuries, will be deemed fit enough to return to the pitch and be reintegrated into the coaching staff’s plans.
