Rape allegations: Achraf Hakimi defends himself again
Achraf Hakimi

Once again, Achraf Hakimi is standing his ground against rape allegations made against him.

In early August, the Nanterre public prosecutor requested that Achraf Hakimi be indicted before the departmental criminal court of Hauts-de-Seine, specifically so that he could stand trial for rape. Recently, in an interview with Clique, the Moroccan international addressed these accusations.

"This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. No one has ever caused me such harm. It has been difficult for me, and it still is. Because when lie after lie is written, it hurts—especially for my family. My children are still young. They don't know the internet and can't read yet. But one day they will read these kinds of things. And for me, seeing these lies written about their father is not pleasant. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I know that what I have been accused of is a lie. I know who I am. I know I did nothing and would never do such a thing. I have always made myself available to the police. I even asked to speak to them to give my side of the story. They also have my DNA. I have always been completely cooperative, unlike the person who accused me, who did not make things easy for those who needed information. Thanks to the police's work, we have made good progress. Today, I am at peace. We hope the truth will come out soon," said the Atlas Lion.
