Real Madrid: a club wants to bring back Franco Mastantuono

Although he was bought for €45 million by Real Madrid last summer, Franco Mastantuono could be heading back to River Plate.

According to ESPN, the Argentine attacking midfielder’s former club is considering making a loan request. However, it remains to be seen what stance Los Merengues—and the player himself—will take.

As a reminder, Franco Mastantuono is not included in Argentina’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
