Real Madrid: Enrique Riquelme wants to bring back the biggest stars

Presidential candidate for Real Madrid, Enrique Riquelme, has given his first interview to Marca.

In this interview, Enrique Riquelme outlined a vision focused on returning the club to its core values. He emphasized the need to “restore Real Madrid’s traditional values”. Riquelme argued that the Merengue institution must reconnect with its socios and return to a governance model he believes has been weakened by privatization and a lack of transparency.

On the sporting front, Riquelme also discussed his ambitions to strengthen the Madrid squad as soon as he potentially takes over as president. “There will be arrivals of big names, the best players that Real Madrid needs will come,” he declared.
