Since his goal against Ethiopian club Insurance Corporation on October 28, in the CAF Champions League, the Leopard hadn't found the back of the net, much to the frustration of his coach.

Finally, he was able to end this goal drought on Tuesday, during the match against El Mahalla, counting for the 19th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

A timely return to form for Mayele, especially as Pyramids FC are about to embark on the CAF Champions League knockout stages, with a highly anticipated clash against Moroccan side AS FAR in the quarter-finals of the competition.

In 31 matches played so far this season, Fiston Mayele has scored 10 goals and provided just one assist.
