The Cameroonian national team will be looking to secure their ticket for the 2026 World Cup during the upcoming international break—without having to go through the playoffs.

It’s a wild scenario that is hard to imagine, especially since the Blue Sharks have only lost once in eight qualifying matches.

For the record, Cameroon has made eight World Cup appearances, specifically in the 1982, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2010, 2014, and 2022 editions.
