U-17 Women's World Cup qualifiers: Ghana crush Togo to advance to second round

In the second leg of the first round of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco qualifiers, Ghana demolished Togo 6-0 on April 19 in Accra. With this comprehensive victory, the Ghanaian girls have secured their place in the second round.

Ghana dominated both legs from start to finish. After a 2-0 win away in Lomé, the Black Maidens unleashed their attacking prowess at home: a resounding 6-0 at the final whistle, sealing an 8-0 aggregate triumph across both matches.

In the next round, Ghana will face Liberia, who advanced automatically after Libya withdrew from the competition.
