U-17 Women's World Cup qualifiers: Second round kicks off on May 22
The draw for the 2026 U-17 Women's World Cup in Poland was held on May 21. In Africa, the battle is heating up for a spot in the final stage. The second round gets underway this Friday with two high-stakes matches on the schedule.
The opening whistle will sound at 13:00 GMT for the East African derby between Uganda and Kenya in Kampala.
One of the headline clashes of this second round sees Senegal take on Cameroon at 17:00 GMT at the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium.
Sixteen teams have advanced past the first round and are now battling it out. The rest of the second round first-leg matches will be played on May 23, 24, and 25.
