The third matchday of the group stage of the FIFA U17 World Cup continues today in Qatar, which is hosting a record 48 teams for the first time in the tournament's history.

So far, three African teams have already booked their spots in the Round of 32: South Africa, Senegal, and Zambia.

Meanwhile, Morocco remains in contention for qualification after a historic and resounding 16-0 victory over New Caledonia, which significantly boosts their chances of being among the eight best third-placed teams in the groups.
