Africa will be well represented at the upcoming U-17 World Cup , with the finals scheduled to take place in Qatar from November 3 to 27, 2025.

Indeed, 10 spots have been allocated to the African continent in the Qatari World Cup, which will feature 48 national teams.

Africa's representatives at the U-17 World Cup will be Tunisia, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Zambia, Mali, Senegal, South Africa, Egypt or Angola, and Uganda and Gambia.

This new format, decided by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), will also be applied at the next senior World Cup, which will be hosted in 2026 by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

In the past, Africa has won the U-17 World Cup 7 times thanks to Nigeria (5) and Nigeria (2).

For the record, the last edition of the tournament was won by Germany, who triumphed over France in the final with a penalty shootout victory of 4-3 after the match ended 2-2.
