Union Saint-Gilloise: Hervé Koffi strings together clean sheets in Pro League
Union Saint-Gilloise continue their flawless run. The Brussels club beat Antwerp 2-0 this weekend to record a sixth consecutive victory in the Jupiter Pro League. At the heart of this run is one man: Hervé Koffi.
A return to the forefront
Having arrived at the start of August from RC Lens on a one-year loan with an option to buy, the 29-year-old goalkeeper has regained a starting role and is thriving in the Jupiler Pro League. Against Antwerp, he recorded his 6th clean sheet in 7 matches played. A level that recalls his standards from last season, when he kept 10 clean sheets in Ligue 1 with SCO Angers.
Full of confidence ahead of the Stallions
With 70 caps to his name, Hervé Koffi is in excellent form ahead of the international break. Burkina Faso’s Stallions begin the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and will play a prestigious friendly against Argentina in October. An ideal test for a goalkeeper at the peak of his confidence.*
