Morocco have taken a vital first step in their AFCON 2025 quarter final edging in front against Cameroon after Brahim Diaz broke the deadlock to give the hosts 1-0 lead in Rabat.

The breakthrough arrived from set piece situation. A well delivered corner found its way into the danger area where Ayoub El Kaabi reacted sharply to knock the ball into Diaz’s path.

The attacking midfielder showed excellent awareness finishing right footed from close range into the bottom left corner leaving the Cameroonian goalkeeper with no chance.
