West Ham United are expected to part ways with a key player this summer!
West Ham is expected to let go of their Greek defender, Konstantinos Mavropanos, when the upcoming summer transfer window opens.
According to Sky Sport Germany, the 28-year-old is very close to joining Borussia Dortmund. He feels ready to embrace a new challenge and wants to prove himself in a different league. Dortmund, for their part, have been closely watching his performances this season and are keen to bring him in. The German club has already reached out to the player to start discussions.
Even though Mavropanos is under contract with West Ham until 2028, a deal could be done for at least €30 million. Over the course of the 2025/26 season, he has made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Hammers and scored three goals.
