World Cup 2026 - France: Mbappé calls for humility among Les Bleus

The French national team stands as one of the main favorites for the 2026 World Cup. Despite this status, Kylian Mbappé is urging his squad to stay humble.

In about two months, France will head into the 2026 World Cup as one of the tournament’s leading contenders. In recent hours, Kylian Mbappé has once again shown his humility.

"A World Cup is an exceptional moment. You win it together, thanks to perseverance and a positive mindset. We have a lot of ambition, but also the humility to know that nothing is guaranteed," the Les Bleus striker told QG magazine.

Mbappé could already become the all-time top scorer in the tournament’s history at this edition. He is just four goals behind Miroslav Klose (16 goals), who currently holds the record.
