In recent weeks, Michael Olise has been on Real Madrid’s radar. Against Iraq on Monday, the Bayern forward once again made his mark in the 3-0 win. Thierry Henry seized the opportunity to send a message to the Madrid club.

Active in orchestrating France’s play and often linking up with Kylian Mbappé, Olise shone once more with two assists—first teeing up Mbappé just outside the box, then setting up Ousmane Dembélé for the second.

A performance that only fuels more speculation about his future. For Thierry Henry, who coached Olise during the Paris 2024 Olympics, the forward could be an ideal fit for Real Madrid. “I saw Olise and Mbappé combine for 30 minutes. If I were at Real Madrid, I’d be watching closely. One day, Mbappé might just ask for the club to sign the player who always finds him,” the former Arsenal striker said on CBS.
