Two matches and two braces for Kylian Mbappé in this 2026 World Cup. The Real Madrid star has a message for the French fans.

On Monday, Kylian Mbappé netted a double against Iraq (3-0) on a night overshadowed by a weather delay of over two hours.

Kylian Mbappé marked his 100th appearance for the French national team in style. With the win over Iraq, Les Bleus have secured a spot in the round of 16 after winning both of their opening matches. Now, their sole objective is to top Group I in the upcoming showdown against Norway.

A few hours after the match, Mbappé expressed his delight on social media: "No better gift than qualification to celebrate my 100th cap with our national team. We’re on the right track and will keep making you proud," he tweeted on Tuesday.
