South Africa is well on track to qualify for the round of 16 at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations—and they could secure their ticket as early as this Friday.

South Africa face Egypt this Friday at 3pm GMT in their second Group B fixture. The Bafana Bafana head into this clash brimming with confidence after their opening win over Angola (2-1).

Group B standings:

1- Egypt 3 pts (+1)

2- South Africa 3 pts (+1)

3- Angola 0 pts (-1)

4- Zimbabwe 0 pts (-1)

Hugo Broos' side will guarantee their place in the last 16 if they defeat Egypt. Even better, they will be assured of topping the group if Zimbabwe fail to beat Angola in the other match.
