Struggling in the domestic league, Al Ahly faces a major test in the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

Drawn into a challenging group, they'll have to contend with three formidable opponents: JS Kabylie (Algeria), AS FAR (Morocco), and Young Africans (Tanzania).

The Cairo giants will kick off against JS Kabylie at home on matchday one, before a perilous trip to Rabat for a clash with AS FAR on matchday two.
