According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Atlanta United have initiated conversations regarding a potential deal for the forward, who appears to have fallen out of favor at Al-Hilal—he was notably omitted from the squad on multiple occasions during last season's Saudi Pro League campaign. As a result, both parties are said to be exploring the possibility of mutually agreeing to terminate his existing contract, which would clear the way for a move to Major League Soccer.
