FC Metz: Sadibou Sané handed three-match suspension in Ligue 1
Sadibou Sané / FC Metz

Sadibou Sané has been handed a three-match suspension in Ligue 1 following his straight red card against Paris FC on Sunday, August 31, 2025. The FC Metz defender will miss the upcoming fixtures against Angers, Le Havre, and Monaco.

Sadibou Sané was sent off during Matchday 4 of Ligue 1 at the Saint-Symphorien stadium after a challenge deemed overly aggressive on Moses Simon. Already on a yellow card at the end of the first half, the Senegalese defender received a straight red in the 80th minute. The LFP’s disciplinary committee has ruled in favor of a firm three-match ban.

"The Senegalese will return for the home clash against Olympique de Marseille, on Matchday 7 of Ligue 1 McDonald's," FC Metz confirmed.
