After a promising start in La Liga, Ibrahim Diabaté has won over Deportivo Alavés. The Spanish club is eager to secure the permanent signing of the Ivorian striker, who is currently on loan from GAIS.

However, according to several reports from Spain, Alavés is currently trying to lower the purchase option, which is set at €2.5 million. Since arriving in Spain, the 26-year-old Ivorian center-forward has scored 2 goals in 9 La Liga appearances, including one against FC Barcelona.

Before his transfer, Ibrahim Diabaté made a name for himself in the Swedish league, netting 18 goals and providing 5 assists for GAIS, finishing among the top scorers of the season.
