Liga: Another setback for Chidera Ejuke!

Tough luck for Chidera Ejuke. The Nigerian winger picked up an injury during Sevilla FC’s 2-0 win over Girona last Saturday, as part of the third matchday of La Liga.

The Andalusian club has just released an update on his injury, detailing both its nature and the expected time on the sidelines. The Nigerian was forced to leave the pitch early, after only 17 minutes of play.

According to medical tests, the 27-year-old is suffering from a myofascial injury to the biceps femoris of his left thigh. The club’s statement says the injury could require up to six weeks of rest.

It’s another blow for a player who just can’t seem to catch a break from injuries. He already suffered a serious injury last season, during a match against Barça in October 2024.
