Liverpool Win Race for Marc Guehi as £35m Transfer Confirmed

Liverpool've reached agreement to sign England international Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace according to BBC reports on Monday.

Medical in London before official signing

The 25 year old centre back will complete his medical in London before penning long term contract with the Premier League champions.

The deal was finalised after Liverpool & Palace settled on fee believed to be in the region of 35 million sterling pound.

Farewell to Palace and new Anfield challenge

Guehi captained Palace to 3 - 0 win over Aston Villa in what proved to be his 162nd and final appearance for the London club.

At Anfield, he's expected to compete with Ibrahima Konate for starting spot alongside captain Virgil van Dijk. Konate who's in the last year of his contract, has been strongly linked with Real Madrid for summer 2026.

Liverpool’s wider transfer strategy

The Reds're also working on record breaking £125m move for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.
