Raja Club Athletic announced on Tuesday, June 10, that it has extended the contract of its defender Mohamed Boulacsoute for two additional seasons, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.

This contract extension comes at the request of head coach Lassaad Chabbi, who has emphasized the importance of retaining the team's core players ahead of the upcoming season.

In an official statement released on its platforms, the club explained that this renewal is part of "the club's commitment to preserving its key pillars and strengthening technical stability as it approaches a new chapter."

Raja also expressed its best wishes to Boulacsoute for the next stage of his career with the team, hoping to see him maintain his momentum and continue to shine in the famous green jersey.

Meanwhile, the club’s management, led by interim president Abdellah Biraouine, is currently negotiating to extend the contracts of other key players, including Abdellah Khafifi, Saber Bougrine, and Adam Ennaffati.

The squad has also been bolstered recently with the arrivals of Badr Banoun and Nigerian international Moses Orkuma from Union Sportive Monastirienne (Tunisia).

Although Raja will not be competing in continental tournaments next season, the club appears determined to build a strong and cohesive side for domestic competition, focusing on continuity and squad stability.
