Michael Olise to succeed Neymar at Nike
Michael Olise could become one of Nike’s new faces in football. According to several media outlets, the American sportswear manufacturer has reportedly reached an agreement with the France international for a partnership that could earn him several million.
Olise remains loyal to his favourite boots
At 24, Michael Olise stands out for an unusual choice among players at his level: he spent a long time without a dedicated boot sponsorship deal. This freedom allows him to continue wearing the Nike Hypervenom Phantom III, a model that has been off the market for several years.
The Frenchman still obtains old pairs and sometimes has their colours customised to match the Bayern Munich or France shirts. This loyalty to a discontinued model is reportedly what helped attract Nike’s attention. According to Footy Headlines, the brand now wants to rely on Olise to support the return of this iconic range.
Following in Neymar’s footsteps
Launched in 2013, the Hypervenom range was notably associated with Neymar, who was one of its main ambassadors. Olise could now take on that role as part of a relaunch announced for 2027. According to information reported by Footy Headlines, Nike is considering reorganising its boot range and bringing the Hypervenom back to the forefront.
The Bayern player reportedly even tested a prototype of the new generation during a training session in June 2026. The financial details of the partnership have not been made public, and the information concerning the agreement is based on media reports, in the absence of any clearly established official announcement.
