PSG: Luis Enrique gets carried away about Ousmane Dembélé
On Wednesday evening, Ousmane Dembélé answered his critics. Scoring and providing an assist in Paris Saint-Germain's 4-2 Champions League victory away to Manchester City, the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner silenced his doubters.
Yesterday, Ousmane Dembélé reminded everyone just what an excellent player he is. Asked about the former FC Barcelona player, Luis Enrique gave journalists a biting response. "Do great players respond in big matches? Ousmane is Ousmane. You journalists are the ones who speak badly of him. He is a different player, a player who enjoys playing in these matches and shines when he plays them. A player who plays for the team. And I think that, in our team, all the players enjoy playing in this competition," the Parisian coach told Canal+.
Luis Enrique calls for calm
With Wednesday evening's victory, PSG once again sent a message to their rivals on the European stage. But, according to Parisian coach Luis Enrique, the answer is no.

"The message is sent by the winner of the European Cup at the end of the season. There are many moments during the season when you can be at a very high level. But what matters is being at that level when March arrives. That is our objective," the Spanish coach explained at a press conference.
After two rounds of the Champions League, PSG sit top of the league phase table.
