Süper Lig: Salah's hat-trick sends him to the top of the scoring charts
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah was particularly impressive on matchday 6 of the Süper Lig, making a major contribution to Trabzonspor’s victory over Galatasaray (4-0).
The Egypt captain was directly involved in all four of his team’s goals, scoring a hat-trick and providing an assist, once again confirming his attacking efficiency despite being 34 years old.
According to Opta statistics, Salah has become the oldest player in Trabzonspor history to score a hat-trick in the Süper Lig, at 34 years and 96 days old.
Thanks to this performance, the Egyptian striker has taken his tally to 7 goals this season and moved clear at the top of the scoring charts after six matchdays.
Salah now leads Nigerian Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray), his compatriot Gift Orban (Amed SK) and Uzbek Eldor Shomurodov (Başakşehir), who have all scored 6 goals.
