2026 World Cup: Goalkeepers with the most clean sheets ahead of the round of 16
Unai Simón hasn't conceded a single goal since the start of the World Cup. The Spanish shot-stopper has even set a new record with his high-level performances.
The Spain goalkeeper has remained unbeaten for 519 minutes (since La Roja's last match at the 2022 World Cup), surpassing the previous record of 518 minutes held by Walter Zenga since 1990.
Trailing him, two goalkeepers have racked up three clean sheets each: Mexico’s Raúl Rangel and Colombia’s Camilo Vargas, whose national teams are still in contention for the round of 16 and set to face England and Switzerland.
Several goalkeepers have kept clean sheets in two matches, including Cape Verde’s Vozinha and Ivory Coast’s Yahia Fofana.
