This Tuesday, the French national team kicks off its 2026 World Cup campaign in East Rutherford against Senegal.

For this blockbuster matchup, Didier Deschamps will have his full squad at his disposal. Up front, Mbappé is expected to be supported by Dembélé, Olise, and Doué. In defense, Saliba looks set to start despite some back discomfort during preparation.

For the Lions, Kalidou Koulibaly and Idrissa Gueye, who were previously injured, are back in training and in contention for a starting spot. Here are the probable lineups for both teams:

France: Maignan - Koundé, Upamecano, Saliba, T. Hernandez - Rabiot, Tchouaméni - Olise, Dembélé, Doué - Mbappé.

Senegal: Mendy - Diatta, M. Sarr, Niakhaté, E. Diouf - Camara, I. Gueye, P. Gueye – I. Sarr, Jackson, Mané.
