In an official statement, the Marseille club confirmed that the procedure is scheduled for March 12, 2026. This decision, made in agreement with the player and the medical staff, aims to put an end once and for all to a recurring physical problem for the Moroccan international.
After the operation, Aguerd will begin a rehabilitation phase under the supervision of Marseille's medical team. The objective is clear: to get the central defender back on the pitch in the spring and strengthen OM for the final sprint of the league season.
