Having arrived in 2023, Jude Bellingham is expected to extend his Real Madrid contract until 2031, with a significant salary increase also in the works.

Real Madrid are on the verge of securing one of their key players for several more years. According to AS, Jude Bellingham and the Madrid club’s management have reached an agreement to extend their partnership until June 30, 2031. His current contract was initially set to run until 2029.

The extension is also expected to come with a salary increase, which would be logical given the status the England international has established since arriving in the Spanish capital. Talks, which began at the end of last season, are reportedly progressing quickly, with the player feeling completely settled in Madrid.

Already 150 matches in a Real shirt

Bellingham officially signed for Real Madrid on June 14, 2023, from Borussia Dortmund, before being presented the following day. He then signed a six-year contract. His first competitive appearance came on August 12, 2023, against Athletic Club, when he scored on his debut.

A little over three years later, his record is already impressive. In the 4-3 victory over AS Roma this week, he made his 150th appearance for Real Madrid and also recorded his 100th win with the club. He now has 49 goals in the white shirt.

Already a firmly established key player

Since joining the club, Bellingham has won five trophies with Real: one Champions League, one La Liga title, one Spanish Super Cup, one UEFA Super Cup and one Club World Cup.

After being hampered by shoulder problems and subsequently undergoing surgery, the Englishman has returned to his best level. This season, he already has three goals and three assists in La Liga, confirming that he remains one of the key figures in the Madrid project.
