Relebohile Mofokeng scored his first Europa League goal on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in Union Saint-Gilloise’s 3-0 victory away to Viktoria Plzeň. Making his first start in the competition, the South African international opened the scoring in the 17th minute.

The South African forward quickly rewarded his coach’s confidence. In the 17th minute, Mofokeng found the back of the net to give Union Saint-Gilloise the lead in the Czech Republic.

This goal was his first in the Europa League for the Belgian club. Union SG then extended their lead through Mateo Biondic in the 43rd minute and Ondřej Kričfaluši in the 59th to win 3-0.

Three goals in his last three appearances

Mofokeng has scored in three consecutive matches. He had already found the net against Sint-Truiden on September 2, then against Lommel on September 12, before doing so again in Plzeň.
